The sweater draws inspiration from one of the first known pictures of me and my mom. It's the early 90s and I'm just a baby, smiling in her arms. She's a first (and only) time mother, rocking a bottle blond pixie cut, vibrant red lipstick and a shimmery mock turtleneck sweater. That sweater is of course long gone, but the strong bond my mom and I share since that time isn't. She has fought for me, encouraged my creativity and not once had lack of faith in my abilities.
