The So Dainty Top, made in one strand of Premium Merino Silk is the perfect summer top. It features a slightly cropped body with side slits, high neckline and ribbed cuffs. This pattern uses lemon peel stitch which gives it a unique, breezy texture and is finished with a crochet I-cord edge. As all Honse patterns it features a full size range, from chest size 75 cm to chest size 155 cm.

Gauge
10x10cm: 15 sts by 15 rows in lemon peel stitch in, on hook 3,5 mm or hook needed to meet gauge. This stitch and yarn grows a bit after blocking, so make sure you block your gauge swatch.
 
This pattern is worked top down seamlessly, starting flat at the back from which you then pick up the front, which is also worked flat. At the armpit the body is gathered and crocheted flat but joining the first and last st with a sl st to make it seamless. At your desired length, the front and back are separated again to create side splits. Finally I-cord edges are crocheted around all openings.
 
Methods
Single crochet - insert hook in advised loop, yarn over and pull through first loop on hook, make another yarn over and pull through all remaining loops on hook.
Double crochet - yarn over, insert hook in advised loop, yarn over and pull through first loop on hook, make another yarn over and pull through the first 2 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through all remaining loops on hook.
Lemon peel stitch -  first row: *sc 1 in the first st, dc 1 in the next st*, repeat *-* to end of row. Next row: *sc 1 in the dc from previous row, dc 1 in the sc from previous row*. Lemon peel stitch is always crocheted through both loops. For this pattern, every row will have an even stitch count, which will make the first stitch a sc and the last st a dc on each row.
Slip stitch - insert hook in the advised loop, pull yarn through all loops on hook.
Yarn over slip stitch- yarn over, insert hook in advised loop, yarn over and pull through all loops on hook.
