PDF Crochet pattern for the very silly, goofy Down To Clown Polo! Two sleeve lengths, collar options, button opportunities - customize your level of clownery. It also matches perfectly with the Down To Clown Bottoms (hint hint) I'd rate it a 4/5 in terms of difficulty. It's in English by default, but available in Swedish upon request.
This pattern is crocheted top down. The back and front are worked flat until you reach the armpit, where the body is joined and then worked seamlessly. The sleeves are then worked from the body, in the round after being shaped with short rows. All openings are finished with a yarn over slip stitch ribbing and an accent row. The collar is also worked in a yarn over slip stitch and has a lace option.

Gauge for 10x10 cm
12 stitches by 16 rows in moss stitch on hook 3,5mm, or hook needed to meet gauge.
Gauge note: moss stitch has a tendency to not hold up its own weight, and the gauge swatch will most likely have more rows than the finished garment. How many more rows depends on the type of yarn you’re using, but should be in the 18-21 row range. For reference my unblocked gauge for both polos was 12 stitches by 20 rows
Methods
Moss stitch - first row: sc 1, ch 1 while skipping the next st. On the next row, sc 1 under the ch from previous row, and ch 1 over the sc from previous row. 1 sc + 1 ch are counted as 1 moss st. All moss st counts are including the first 2 ch of row.
Yarn over slip stitch - yarn over, insert hook in the advised loop, pull yarn through all loops on hook.Slip stitch - insert hook in the advised loop, pull yarn through all loops on hook.
